McCausland is small town living at its finest! We have many businesses and community activities happening on a regular basis.

We are surrounded by rural beauty including farms, wetlands with herons, swans, eagles, geese, and hawks, and the Wapsi River with plenty of fishing opportunities. We are close to Scott County Park, Buffalo Bill Cody Homestead, Lost Grove Lake and the Mississippi River.

We are a great place for kids, too! We have a fun playground, a top-notch baseball field, and a 9-hole Disc Golf Course. We host regular parties for the kids including an Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Party, and Christmas Party.  Our Community Center and Pavilion are great places to rent for family events.

We are part of the excellent North Scott Community School District.  Grissom Elementary is located in Princeton.  The Junior and Senior High Schools are in Eldridge.  There is a brand new YMCA in Eldridge for both community and school use.

It is a short drive to Eldridge, DeWitt, Bettendorf, Davenport and Clinton so it's simple to access all the conveniences of the city with the advantages of small-town living.
