Code of Ordinances
The City of McCausland is responsible for protecting our community's health, safety and welfare through effective enforcement of codes and ordinances.
The Code of Ordinances is another name for the laws of the City. If you have a question about how things should be done, the Code of Ordinances is your first stop. The City Clerk can assist you if you need help in knowing where to look, or if something specific is covered. If it is not in the code book, that means that the City does not regulate it and only follows state and federal laws on the subject. For example, some cities require pet registration. We do not so you will not find that in our code.
NOTE: We are in the process of reviewing all ordinances. If you have an idea of a law that needs to be changed or updated, please feel free to let us know. Your input is always welcome!
