City Clerk

The Clerk serves as the link between Council and citizens as well as managing the office and coordinating staff.

The Office of Clerk for the City of McCausland provides clerical, record keeping and administrative functions to the Council. In addition, this individual performs many tasks that assist in guiding and managing the operation of local government policy and law. Below are just a few of the responsibilities of the City of McCausland Clerk.

  • Collects information and prepares Council agendas and other information for Council
  • Collects, organizes, and maintains records
  • Records and submits Council meeting minutes
  • Manages utility billing and accepts payments
  • Manages rentals of public facilities
  • Maintains all records for the City
  • Manages the website and oversees any updates to social media accounts

Sheila Bosworth is the current City Clerk.  She has been here since 2009.  Jan Lewis is the Deputy City Clerk.  She has been here since 2011.
