Streets/Sidewalks
City streets and alleys are maintained by the city. If you have a street problem, please use the contact us page and send Tony an email. The county assists the city in snow plowing Cody Ave., 1st St. and Salina St. They also paint lines on 1st and Salina streets for us.
The city is not responsible for the street lights. If you notice a street light out in your area, please notify the appropriate electric company.
Homeowners are responsible for the sidewalks in front of their property. This includes keeping them in good repair, shoveling snow (not into the street) and cutting the grass on both sides (not into the street).
Please do not take it upon yourself to repair any potholes or add any gravel to the streets or parking areas. If you need something, please contact us to take care of it.
